Absorbent Peat Floorsweep

Description

Peat floorsweep is an excellent hydrophobic (water-repelling) solution for hydrocarbon spills, which include oil, fuels and solvents. Given it’s nature, it is highly recommended for use around wet areas or spread onto water to absorb hydrocarbons. It is equally effective in wet weather, where rainfall may impede the spill containment process.

Peat is also an excellent suppressant of hydrocarbon fumes, which in turn makes your spill area safer. It is a bio-active product which contains ‘oil eating’ bacteria that biodegrades contaminated material.

• Fast-wicking action does not allow liquid to be squeezed or washed from the fibre
• Organic and will naturally degrade, making it ideal for land farm applications
