Ensuring quick access to a safety shower or eyewash within ten seconds of an injury is vital for providing effective first aid facilities. This becomes especially important for individuals with compromised eyesight, highlighting the significance of clear identification.

The LED batten light is compatible with all Spill Crew safety shower and eyewash units. Its polycarbonate body and diffuser, combined with green LED lighting, provide durability and enhanced visibility. Operating at 240 volts, it delivers a high lumen output and is equipped with emergency battery backup for uninterrupted functionality.

Easy to install, the light comes with a plug and play feature, complete with a power cable and plug suitable for non-hazardous areas. Stainless steel surface mounting brackets enable flexible installation on walls or ceilings. Additionally, the optional shower mount kit facilitates attachment to any Spill Crew deluge shower or combination unit, including LED light, angled pole arm, brackets, and fixings.

Although the color of lighting isn’t specified in Australian standard AS4775-2007, the standard mandates highly visible signage and well-illuminated areas for each eyewash, shower, or eye/face wash location throughout the served area.
